Two things to get right or the warranty is void. First, both coats; the topcoat alone is not the system. Second, do not putty underneath it. Asian Paints specifically warns that a putty coat reduces the bonding strength of the Protek system to the wall. If the plaster is badly undulating, a thin putty coat is permitted but must be fully cured first. Register the site with Asian Paints for the warranty to be live.
