Ace Exterior Emulsion

Ace is the bottom of the Asian Paints exterior range and it is a perfectly reasonable paint. Water-based acrylic with anti-fade technology against UV, decent resistance to algae and fungus. Available in 1,600+ shades.

Where it sits: use Ace on boundary walls, servant quarters, outbuildings, back elevations, and anywhere that will be repainted every few years anyway. For a street-facing elevation in Delhi, with full sun, monsoon and a decade of dust, spend the extra on Apex. Ace on a front elevation will look tired in year three, and you will pay twice in scaffolding.
